Keith Picard President/CEO & CO-Owner

Since 1984, Keith has overseen the success and growth of Val-Fab. He started from a one employee shop and a base of $100,000 annual revenue, and grew to an 80 employee $11M business. Keith has always done whatever it takes to make the business a success. He has worn many hats over the years including personnel management, planning, budgeting and customer relations. Most recently Keith has concentrated on business development and planning, as well as sales.

Woodmen Financial Resources
Regional Sales Manager - Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and managing sales agents to sell life, health and disability insurance, annuities and mutual funds. 70% of efforts were to the personal financial planning market and 30% sales were to small business owners.

Thermo Electron
Metal Fabricator - Duties included building and fabricating metal component and parts for blueprints such as equipment platforms, industrial ductwork and large plenum chambers for the paper industry.

U.S. Army
12c10 Bridge Specialist - Combat engineer responsibilities included building bridges, drove five-ton flatbed trucks which hauled bridge bulk. Trained in all aspects of military life including special training on plastic explosives and demolitions. Discharged general under honorable conditions due to a knee disability.

Gary Van Linn, Vice President & Co-Owner

Since 1990 Gary has been integral in the success and growth of Val-Fab. Starting from a small shop with a base revenue of $400,000 annual revenue to an 80 employee $11M business. Gary has always done whatever it takes to make the business a success. He has worn many hats over the years including managing, estimating, scheduling, equipment purchase, budgeting, OSHA compliance and union labor agreements. Most recently Gary has concentrated on operations and facilities management, along with overall responsibility for production, scheduling, and maintenance and strategic business planning.

Thermo Electron, Inc
Sheetmetal Journeyman- responsible for a crew of three to six co-workers. In charge of the production of paper dryers, paper mill service work, ductwork, guard work and machine assembly. Worked with materials from light gauge to heavy plate. Assisted the field service department in field installation in different parts of the USA. Served on the safety committee, new idea committee and union labor negotiations.

Gilbert Paper Company - 1977 to 1978
Operator- Was responsible for the operation of a roll wrapping machine and general labor.

Peter Hoffman, Corporate Operating Officer -

Pete has twenty five years of engineering and management experience. He has worked in the automotive, general fabrication, production stamping, tool building and powder metallurgy industries. Areas of expertise include project management, plant start up, manufacturing equipment design, ISO 9001:2000 systems, and manufacturing process selection/optimization. Pete is responsible for company operations.




William Capelle, Sales and Marketing

Bill has been in sales and marketing of specialty fabrication services for the past 15 years and with Val-Fab, Inc. since April of 2003 and has training and expertise in ISO 9001:2000, Fabritrack, API, Auto Cad and ASME. Bill has been instrumental in helping Val-Fab achieve ASME Pressure Vessel certification. Bill's Tanks to Specialty Fabrications***. Bill has worked with many different metal materials including Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Hastelloy, Inconel, T1, Carbon Steel and numerous others. Bill's current duties at Val-Fab, Inc. include sales & marketing, project management, outsourcing.
